Your AI agent picks up WhatsApp calls.
Customers press call in WhatsApp and your agent answers, the same one that takes your phone calls.
WhatsApp numbers are available today in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.
On WhatsApp in three steps.
All in the app, on the Phone numbers page.
-
Pick a number
Choose the country and a local number: the United States, Canada or Puerto Rico.
-
Name your business
Type the name customers will see in WhatsApp and pick the agent that answers. WhatsApp reviews the name.
-
Take calls within minutes
We register the number with WhatsApp for you. Calls work while the name is reviewed, and it shows once approved.
The phone agent, now in WhatsApp.
Nothing new to set up for the conversation itself: the agent you already have takes the call.
-
Answers WhatsApp calls
A customer presses call in WhatsApp, and the agent picks up with the same voice, knowledge and tools as on your phone line.
-
One number, two ways in
The same number takes ordinary phone calls too, and both reach the same agent.
-
Books while they talk
It checks your calendar during the call, books the appointment and confirms it before the caller hangs up.
-
25 languages
It answers in the caller's language and switches when they do.
-
Your business name
Once WhatsApp approves it, customers see your business name, not just a number.
-
Every call in the CRM
Transcript, summary and what was agreed land on the customer's contact.
And it sends WhatsApp messages.
The booking details, an address or a link, sent on WhatsApp during the call or once it ends.
-
A step in your call flow
Add a Send WhatsApp step where it belongs, or send a message after every call, written from the whole conversation.
-
Templates for writing first
To write to a customer who has not messaged you in the last 24 hours, the agent uses a template WhatsApp has approved, filled in with details from the call.
-
Delivery you can see
Every message is logged on the contact with its delivery status, next to the call it came from.
What WhatsApp costs.
WhatsApp is part of every paid plan, from Starter at €49 a month.
- a month for the number
- €6.15
- The same as a local number in its country, paid monthly from your credit.
- a minute of WhatsApp call
- €0.13
- Billed like a phone call: €0.15 on Starter, down to €0.13 on Business.
- a WhatsApp message
- €0.06
- The same in every country. A reply within 24 hours is the cheap case; writing first needs a template and costs more.
Good to know.
-
Numbers from three countries
Today the number comes from the United States, Canada or Puerto Rico. Customers call it from the WhatsApp app over the internet, from nearly anywhere.
-
Customers call you
The agent answers WhatsApp calls; it does not start them. To reach a customer first, it writes to them on WhatsApp.
-
No Meta account needed
We register the number under our own WhatsApp business account. WhatsApp only reviews the business name you give.
Questions, answered.
Can customers outside the United States call the number?
Yes. A WhatsApp call goes over the internet, so customers call from the WhatsApp app wherever they are, with no call charge on their side. The number itself is from the United States, Canada or Puerto Rico.
Can I use my existing WhatsApp Business number?
Not yet. The agent answers on a new number you get from Hanc in the app, which we register with WhatsApp for you.
Do I need a Meta business account?
No. The number is registered under our own WhatsApp business account. You give the business name customers see, and WhatsApp reviews it.
Can the agent chat by text in WhatsApp?
It sends WhatsApp messages, for example the booking details during or after a call. It does not hold text conversations: it is a voice agent that answers calls.
When do customers see my business name?
Once WhatsApp approves it. Calls already work while the name is under review.
Will callers know they are talking to an AI?
Yes. As on the phone, the agent says so at the start of every call, as the EU AI Act asks.
Which plans include WhatsApp?
Every paid plan, from Starter at €49 a month. The Free plan covers calls in the browser only.
